Agricola Lodigiana is a family owned business based in Ronsecco, a town in the Province of Vercelli, in the Italian region of Piedmont.

The high quality of Lodigiana’s products originates from an ideal balance between tradition and innovation, using both conventional hand worked techniques and high-tech machinery in its mill.

All of the company’s rice is fresh – it is preservative free and does not polish its rice with Vaseline oil or talc. No pesticides or antiparastic chemicals are used on its crops. The company guarantees biological and natural products of high quality and great taste for customers. Lodigiana has been awarded according to the EU standards, which ensures the control, origin and traceability of their products.

Carnaroli rice is considered one of the best Italian rices. It has good qualities for all types of preparation, which make it ideal for sophisticated risottos and speciality and regional dishes. It can also be served with various other foods to bring out their flavours.

Vialone Nano Rice
Available in: 500g sack
Vialone Nano is an excellent rice which absorbs condiments and withstands boiling well. It is more suitable for risottos than for soups. It is the perfect accompaniment to traditional Italian flavours, meaning it can be used in a variety of dishes.

Polenta – Stone Milled

Lodigiana Polenta is corn flour which is ground using traditional methods of an old stone mill, which maintains the quality of the grain. This particular process eliminates the most coarse seed and gives a more delicate flavour.

Polenta with Porcini Mushrooms
Available in: 250g sachet
This polenta consists of a mixture of Bramata maize with dried porcini mushrooms of the Boletus Edulis type. Cooking time is approximately 45 minutes as it is a traditional type of polenta. An excellent accompaniment to meat and fish dishes.
