Sprawling over a thousand acres and spanning six generations since 1848, Riverside Farm was established when Joseph Barritt, an early South Australian settler, acquired a land grant of 100 hectares on the bank of the North Para river near Lyndoch. Over the years more land was added and between 1857 and 1861 the group of buildings which form the centre of today’s farm was established.

At Riverside they produce some very fresh, delicious pastured eggs. They come from hens that are tended to by hand and roam free on green pasture under blue skies. They’re protected by our beautiful Maremma dogs Atlas, Nero and Donna. Raising the hens the way nature intended produces some pretty amazing eggs!
