Started by Giacomo Morra in 1930, Tartufi Morra was the first company to process and market “Tuber Magnatum Pico”, the white truffle of Alba.

Thanks to Giacomo Morra, the popularity of the white truffle of Alba and the Langhe has spread throughout the world. Morra established the Truffle Fair of Alba, which today still attracts visitors from all over the world. Also a brilliant marketer, Morra had the idea of giving truffles to celebrities of the time, such as Marilyn Monroe, Winston Churchill and Alfred Hitchcock, among others.

Tartufi Morra is the only truffle company authorised to use the coat of arms of the city of Alba in their logo, just to emphasise the unbreakable bond that exists between the company and its city. Today the company Tartufi Morra is popular throughout the world and the brand is a sign of the history of Italian cuisine.
