The Germain L’Affiné Au Chablis is a washed rind cheese, made from pasteurised cow’s milk. The rind of the cheese has been washed with Chablis wine, which becomes slightly orange. As the cheese ripens, the cheese takes on the distinctive taste of the Chablis wine. This cheese is ideal on a cheeseboard or in salads. It also has a high melting point, so is great on fresh, sliced bread.
